Description

Animal Farm is a satirical allegorical novella in which a group of barnyard animals overthrow their human owner and attempt to create a fair and equal society. Initially the animals enjoy a brief period of hope and unity. But slowly the pigs, who become the leaders, betray the founding principles, seize power and turn the farm into a cruel dictatorship, showing how revolutions can be corrupted by greed and corruption.
